Assistant Principal

Having spent much of my career in education here at Excelsior Barstow, returning as your new Assistant Principal truly feels like coming home. I’m excited for the upcoming year and remain committed to ensuring our campus is a place where students grow both academically and socially in a positive, focused environment. 

Whether your student is enrolled in on-campus classes or Independent Study, they will be supported by a team of passionate and dedicated educators. On-campus students will benefit from the strengths of a traditional school setting with an emphasis on small class sizes, safety, and personalized support. Independent Study students will enjoy flexibility while still engaging in daily live Zoom classes for Math and English. All of our students have the opportunity to explore unique elective courses and participate in special events and field trips. 

Excelsior’s mission is “Together, Preparing Students to be Successful Adults.” I thank you in advance for playing an active role in your student’s success—whether by monitoring progress in Canvas, volunteering your time on campus, or staying informed through email and ParentSquare. When schools and families work together, students thrive.
