Students in non-classroom-based programs meet with their Educational Advisor (a credentialed teacher) every four weeks to review progress on academics, goals, and college and career readiness. These meetings include academic planning, course selection, graduation support, Personal Life Planning: college and career guidance, financial aid resources, and post-secondary planning.

Welcome, Students & Families!
Hi everyone! My name is Mrs. Rita Castaneda, and I'm a proud mom of three boys, so I understand how busy and sometimes challenging balancing school, family, and everyday life can be.
As an Educational Advisor, I’m here to partner with you throughout the school year. I regularly meet with students and parents to review academics, celebrate progress, identify areas where students may need extra support, and help make sure everyone stays on track toward their goals.
I can also help students create a realistic at-home school schedule that works for their individual needs and routines. My goal is to make sure students feel supported, organized, and confident in their learning.
Please know that you don’t have to navigate the school year alone. I’m here to listen, answer questions, problem-solve, and cheer you on along the way. I’m looking forward to getting to know you and your families and having a great school year together!
